Rabbit Month Money Moves
0 comment(s)
Did you spend up a storm in Tiger month? Impulsive decisions are common during the start of the new year (and a Dragon year at that!), but now we’re back to a mellow groove with Rabbit month. (Nope, no more shopping sprees – sorry!) Your approach to money should be more cautious, contained, and wise. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your moola in the coming weeks:
  1. Save, save, save.
Ok, so even though Rabbit looooves the finer things in life, you should probably set up an automatic savings plan if you don’t have one already. This will ensure that, even if you splurge, you’ll still be putting away some cash in the coming months. Rabbit approves.
  2. Quality over quantity.
Don’t bother with cheap imitations, knock-offs or less expensive versions of something important you’re going to buy. Even when it comes to your clothing, it’s better to choose quality over quantity in Rabbit month. Need a new coat? Get a real leather one instead of a fake, cheap-looking one that won’t last as long anyway. You get the idea.
  3. Get creative.
Is it time to get that side business off the ground? Rabbit is brimming with creative juices, and you’ll feel the effects this month. Don’t be afraid to try new things that might bring in some extra cash, especially if they’re artistic pursuits, like writing or painting. Yes, it’s time to start that garage band after all!
  4. Eat in.
Yes, Rabbit loves indulgence, but you can also get very creative with your meals at home. Get cozy with your loved ones over a home-cooked meal. This will save you cash while also allowing you to express those hidden culinary talents! They’re in there somewhere, we promise.
  5. Spruce up your nest.
If you’re going to make big purchases this month, they should go toward beautifying your home and environment. Replace that tattered bedspread with a luxurious down comforter. Get rid of the ugly living room furniture and shop for deals at discount stores. With a little creativity, your money can go a long way.
