Lily Allen is the colorful British singer-song writer best known for her popular songs “Smile,” “LDN” and “The Fear and Their Mockery.” Allen also hosts her own BBC Three talk show, Lily Allen and Friends. Her hit single "Smile" reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. In December of the same year her debut album, Alright, Still, was voted the Number Three best album of the year by Mixmag. In 2007, it was nominated for Best British Album at the BRIT Awards and for Best New Artist at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. In 2008 the album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Album. To date, Alright, Still has sold over 2,600,000 copies worldwide.

With a musical style that has been described as “heartbroken soul,” 20-year-old British singer Adele has just won the 2009 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. She also scored an additional Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Adele will return to the U.S. for a nine-city tour kicking off March 9 in San Diego, California at the House of Blues. Her first U.S. tour will conclude March 21 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio (see full itinerary below). Adele is slated to headline at the Roseland Ballroom in New York on May 5 in celebration of her 21st birthday, and is also set to headline a very special evening at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 28.

IFFHS, the International Federation of Football History and Statistics, have drawn up a new 'best' list, this time composed of the best coaches of the last 12 years, at least according to their standards. They have stirred up controversy over some of their lists in the past, and it will be no different this time. Sir Alex Ferguson – a Scottish football manager and former player, currently managing Manchester United, where he has been in charge since 1986 - was nominated the top of the list after winning a massive 21 trophies over this time - span with Manchester United.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen and New England Patriot quarterback Tom Brady are on their way to tying the knot! The 31-year-old football player proposed to Gisele, 28, with a diamond solitaire in Los Angeles on Friday - Jan 9. As for the wedding, "The couple is discussing a huge fashionista event in the spring or a more intimate and quicker ceremony in Costa Rica, where Gisele has a home," the source tells the publication. This is the first marriage for both Brady and Bündchen. Brady has a son with his former fiancé Bridget Moynahan, while Bündchen ended a long-term relationship with Leonardo Di Caprio in 2005. In 2008 the success of Circus really does signify Britney Spears’ triumphant return. Brit’s manager, Larry Rudolph, told The Associated Press "At the end of the day, I think she is America's pop princess, and the world's pop princess, and this just reconfirms it to everyone who doubted it," he said. "Professionally, she's feeling great. ... It's great for her to hear that she's got a #1 album again." Having sold over 505,000 copies in the United States in its first week, Circus debuted on the Billboard 200 at number one, making it Spears's fifth number-one album. The feat made Spears the only act in Nielsen SoundScan history to have four albums debut with 500,000 or more copies sold.
